Baseball vs. Football
I have a few friends that turn all attention away from baseball once football starts, and I can see where they are coming from because of the awesomeness of football, but I just cant agree. I have invested almost 5 months now into this team, so in my mind, football doesnt start until my team, the Mets are out of it. Am I the oddity in this? I LOVE both sports more than you could imagine. But. BUT, to put baseball on the backburner because football started is unimaginable. Every year I ask myself who my favorite team is, the Mets or Giants, and I am yet to even come close to a decision. It’s like having two best men I guess, it’s not the norm, but it is just the right thing to do. If you aren’t forced to choose, than why would you.
PS-The Phillies lost as I’m typing, so the Mets are back tied in first.
