Milwaukee Brewers
I am a second rate Cubs fan probably, according to a normal Cubs fan, but I do root for them like crazy. It’s semantics I guess since I’m a die hard Mets fan. Either way, I actually feel bad for the Brewers and their fans. The team can’t lose. My favorite player is hurt, Ryan Braun. YET, they can’t gain any games on the Cubs. It’s almost funny but I’m getting to the point where you have to think it’s comical, they won 7 in a row and are still 3.5 games out. The one guy I talk to non stop about various baseball arguments every single day is a huge brewers fan (a real yanks fan) and me the cubs fan (a mets fan), and we have a more fun argument than being mets vs yankees fans. it’s just more fun, because the teams are more fun. Both teams in the Central are so nasty it makes me laugh. Both will make the playoffs without a question, and at this point in time, should both be the favorites to make the WS. Yet, we all know you dont want to bet against the New York teams. Ask the Patriots ;)
Anyway, CC sabathia, ben sheets, and possibly yovani gallardo, along with rich harden, carlos zambrano and ryan dempster can only be compared to possibly Boston’s 1-5. Either way, any baseball fan knows that if you have any pretty good hitters along with an impressive 1-3 like they have, you can win it all.
It’s gonna be a fun playoff run and playoffs, I can’t wait.
